Megan Fox Quits Twitter – Less Than a Week After Joining
There is no denying it – Megan Fox is just more of a Facebook kind of girl!
Less than a week after joining
Twitter, the 26-year-old actress had already had her fill of
140-character count posts – and announced that she has quit the social
media site.
"Some of you may, or may not have noticed by now that my Twitter
account has been shut down," the "This Is 40" star wrote Thursday on Facebook.
"I thought that 2013 might be the year I finally blossomed into a
social networking butterfly… but as it turns out I still hate it. Love
you guys but I can never be that girl. Facebook is as much as I can
handle."
In less than a week on Twitter, Fox had accumulated more than 250,000
followers and had sent out 29 tweets. Some of them even made headlines,
including a photo of "a life-size R2D2" that she and her husband, Brian
Austin Green, own as well as an old family snapshot of her in which
she’s adorably outfitted in Wild West attire.
The silver lining in all of this is that while Twitter isn't for Fox, she is
sticking with Facebook. She is already a well-established presence on
the Mark Zuckerberg-helmed site, boasting nearly 40 million likes. And
she – or one of her minions – regularly posts can’t miss pix. Our
favorite? An album of photos in which she says she looks like "Boardwalk
Empire" star Steve Buscemi.
Now if only she’d post the highly-anticipated first photo of new son Noah...
