Rory McIlroy has already surpassed Tiger Woods as the world's No. 1 golfer.
After sealing a sponsorship deal worth a reported $200 million with Nike, the Northern Irishman has also eclipsed Woods as the highest paid athlete on the company's pay roll.
But the 37-year-old Woods can still show the 23-year-old McIlroy a thing or two on the tee. Watch the golf superstars try to out-trick-shot each other in the newest Nike commercial.
Last month, Woods took to his blog to reflect on many things, including his relationship with McIlroy.
"Whether [Rory and I] develop a rivalry remains to be seen. Let's just let it play out and see where it takes us," Woods wrote. "We'll look at the results the next five or 10 years and see if it becomes a rivalry or not. We'll have to win big events and play each other down the stretch. That hasn't happened yet."
Woods and McIlroy clearly have more of a friendship than a rivalry at this point but that could change if the two find themselves at the top of the leaderboard at a major this year.
"There's not a storyline on tour that will be more intriguing in 2013 than whether these two can finally hook up on the back nine of a major," CBSSports.com's Kyle Porter wrote last month. "It's a jolt the golf world wouldn't know what to do with and I for one am hoping it takes place."
